Who is Lalit Modi
Lalit Modi is an Indian businessman, best known as the founder of the IPL, India’s top cricket competition. He also played a major part in the growth of the entertainment and sports broadcasting industry in India, through business partnerships with Walt Disney and ESPN. He talked about this journey with Saagar Varma.
What we did
- Filmed the entire interview with three cameras running at once
- Professional lighting for the interview set
- Sound recording of the conversation
- Delivered all the raw camera and sound footage, unedited
Our aim was high image and sound quality throughout the conversation.
Filming at the villa
Saagar Varma got in touch about ten days before the shoot. It was his first production of this scale. We sent him a quote quickly and adjusted the scope of the production to what he needed.
The interview took place outdoors at the villa. We set up cameras, lights and microphones in the shade of the trees, around the two armchairs. The shooting schedule changed several times and the location was demanding, as Saagar mentions in his own review. We adapted each time. We also gave him feedback on the shoot, which he took on board.
Lalit Modi welcomed our team with great courtesy and hospitality. We had lunch with him, heard stories from his personal and business life, and tasted samples from a new range of sauces he is preparing to launch.
The result
The interview went live on The Bharat Inc on 11 October 2026, under the title “Lalit Modi: Untold Story of IPL, Disney, BCCI & Beyond”. In the video description Saagar credits the production to “The super professional One Take Videographers from Greece”, while the editing is credited to Joshua D’Souza.
Saagar Varma was very happy with the quality of the footage and with our collaboration. In his Google review he describes our collaboration in detail.

Frequently asked questions
Do you film interviews and podcasts outside a studio?
Yes. We bring cameras, lighting and sound equipment to wherever the conversation takes place, as we did at Lalit Modi’s villa in Mykonos. We set up the equipment around the speakers’ positions so that picture and sound stay clean, even outdoors.
How far in advance should I contact you?
The earlier you contact us, the easier it is to secure the crew and equipment for your date. We also take on projects at short notice, as with the Lalit Modi interview.
Do you work with clients from abroad?
Yes. Saagar Varma travelled to Mykonos for the interview and we worked with him from the quote to the day of the shoot. We take on productions all over Greece, including the islands.
«All in all, I couldn't speak more highly of Nikos and Kostas and the One Take Productions team. Highly, highly recommend for any assignment.»Saagar Varma, The Bharat Inc · Google review
